Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has notified a recruitment to fill up various vacant posts of Commissioned Officers in Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force in various branches through Combined Defense Services Examination II (UPSC CDS II 2015) into the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers Training Academy (For men and women both) from unmarried candidates/Any Graduate/Age up to 23 years/Pay as per Govt rules/ UPSC CDS II Exam 2015/Apply Online up to 14-08-2015.

NO.OF POSTS: 463 vacant posts of Commissioned Officers in Defence through Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination II to be carried out by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 200 posts.
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 45 posts.
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 posts.
4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 175 posts.
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 11 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Degree in relevant discipline from any recognized University or Institute.
PAY SCALE: Pay as per Govt. rules.
REQUIRED AGE: 18 – 23 years as on 01-01-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non refundable Application Fee of Rs. 200/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid in any branch of SBI either net banking or by cash.
SC/ST and Women candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written exam and SSB interview for written qualified candidates.
A written test would be conducted to shortlist candidates followed by an interview, after which they would be enrolled into the respective institutes. The paper would consist of questions from English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. There would be negative marking present for each wrong answer.
Those candidates who would be eligible for the exam will be issued an e-Admit Card 3 weeks before the commencement of the examination.
