Established on December 1, 1965, it is a paramilitary force charged with guarding India's land border during peace time and preventing transnational crime. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10th/ Matric & Certificate/ Diploma Course in related Trade/ Driving certificate for Constable, Head Constable posts/ Intermediate/ Class 12th/ Master certificate for Sub Inspector posts.
PAY SCALE: Following Pay Scale will be paid -
1. SI (Workshop): Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs.4200/-.
2. SI (Master), SI (Engine Driver): Rs. 5200-20200/- + Rs.2400/-.
3. Head Constable & Constable: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Rs.2000/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between 20 years to 25 years for Head Constable and SI (Workshop) posts while age should be between 22 years to 28 years for other posts.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, trade test, physical test & medical test by the Selection Committee.
