NOTIFICATION:     The National Seeds Corporation Limited (NSC) has notified a recruitment to fill up 87 vacant posts of Trainee, Assistant, Management Trainee, Vehicle Driver Grade-V and others in various regional offices in Delhi, Haryana and Karnataka/Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or 10th standard with valid driving license or Degree or Diploma Professional degree in Law or Graduate or MBA (Agri. Business Management) or M. Sc (Agri.) or B.E/ B. Tech or CA/ CA (ICWA) or BBA/ BCA/BA/Max age up to 27 years/ Pay as per Govt. rules/Personal Interview/ NSC Recruitment 2015 Trainee & Other Vacancies/Apply Offline up to 07-09-2015.

ABOUT:     National Seeds Corporation (NSC) is a Schedule ‘B’-Miniratna Category-I company wholly owned by Government of India under the administrative control of Ministry of Agriculture. NSC was established in 1963 to undertake production of foundation and certified seeds. At present, it is undertaking production of certified seeds of nearly 600 varieties of 60 crops through its registered seed growers. There are about 8000 registered seed growers all over the country who are undertaking the seed production programmes in different agro-climatic conditions. The turnover of the Corporation for the F.Y. 2013-14 was ` 738.75 crores. There are 10 Regional Offices, 5 Farms and 73 Area Offices/Sub-Units of the Corporation spread all over the country. In the seed production, emphasis is given for production of oil seeds, pulses and hybrids including vegetables. NSC has established strict Quality Control procedure to ensure supply of quality seed to farmers. NSC has established 5 Quality Control Laboratories, one each at New Delhi, Secunderabad, Bhopal, Kolkata and Pune to undertake seed testing to check the quality of seeds. Besides, production and distribution of quality seeds, NSC is also involved in the production of Tissue Culture Plants like Banana. It also undertakes supply of seedlings/saplings of fruits crops through procurement from the MOU Partners. Seed marketing is carried out through three channels namely sale through dealers/distributors, Govt. (State/Central) and through NSC owned Sale counter. There are about 2500 dealers of the Corporation who account for more than 69% of the sale turn over.

Required Age:     Max age up to 30 years.

Pay Scale:     Rs. 9400-25700/- (IDA).

2 - Management Trainees:   15 posts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:    As per details given below -

1. Assistant (Legal):        A passed of Professional degree in Law from a recognised University. One year experience of handling legal matters in a reputed organisation/or with experienced Advocate. Knowledge of Computer (MS Office) shall be desirable.

2. Assistant (Vigilance):         A passed of Graduate with 55 % marks from recognized University, having 2 years experience in Police/CID or working in Vigilance set up of a Government Department/PSU. Preference to those candidates who have undergone training in Intelligence or Vigilance work. Experience relaxable by one year in case of exceptionally deserving candidates. Knowledge of Computers (MS Office) shall be desirable.

3. Management Trainee (Production):          A passed of B.Sc. (Agri.) plus MBA (Agri Business Management) OR M.Sc. (Agri.) with specialisation in Agronomy / Seed Technology / Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agriculture Entomology / Plant Pathology from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 60% marks.

4. Management Trainee (Engg.):         A passed of B.E./B. Tech. (Agri. Engg.) from any recognized University/ Institutions with minimum 60% marks.

5. Management Trainee (F&A):        A passed of Pass in CA/CMA (ICWA) or 2 years full time MBA with specialization in Finance from recognized University/Institutions with minimum 60% marks.

6. Trainee (Human Resource):        A passed of BBA/BCA/BA (Personnel Management) OR Graduate with minimum 55% marks from recognized University/Institutions with one year Diploma in Industrial Relations/Personnel Management/Human Resource Management/Labour Laws/ Computer Application from a recognized University/Institution. In addition to the above, the candidate should have knowledge of MS Office and typing with speed of 40/35 WPM in English/ Hindi in computer. Knowledge of Hindi typing is mandatory. In case a candidate does not possess Hindi typing at the time of selection, they have to pass the examination of Hindi typing during the course of training period.

7. Trainee (Finance):         A passed of B.Com with minimum 55% marks from recognized University. In addition to above knowledge of computer application is mandatory.

8. Trainee (Store):        A passed of B.Sc. (Agri.) with minimum 55% marks from recognized University or Graduate with minimum 55% marks with one year diploma in Materials Management/Inventory Management/Stores Management. Knowledge of computer application is mandatory.

9. Trainee (Agriculture):        A passed of B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 55% marks from recognized University. Knowledge of computer (MS Office) is mandatory.

10. Trainee (Laboratory):         A passed of B.Sc. with Chemistry and Biology as subjects with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

Trainee (Technician):     A passed of Three years diploma from recognized polytechnic i.e. mechanical/ Automobile Engineering/Agriculture Engineering with minimum 55% marks from recognized Institute or ITI certificate in trade of fitter/ Welder/ Machinist/ Diesel Mechanic/ Tractor Mechanic/ Electrical in the trade with minimum 55% of marks and one year trade apprenticeship training in any industry and passed NAC Examination conducted by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
