ABOUT: The Cabinet Secretariat is responsible for the administration of the Government of India (Transaction of Business) Rules, 1961 and the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules 1961, facilitating smooth transaction of business in Ministries/ Departments of the Government by ensuring adherence to these rules. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Senior Research Officer (Crypto): A passed of Post Graduate in Computer Applications; OR
Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications or Electronics. Desirable - Aptitude in Cryptography, Knowledge of Computer Applications.
2. Senior Research Officer (S & T): A passed of Post Graduate in Physics or Chemistry. Desirable - Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognised University and Possessing Knowledge of French or German or Chineese Lanuage.
3. Senior Field Officer (Tele): A passed of Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised University in Telecommunication or Electronics or equivalent or passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (India) or Associate Membership Examination of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600/- – 39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in valid GATE marks out of 100 and personal interview carrying 25 marks respectively. A candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks of 40% in Personal Interview.
