NOTIFICATION: Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur has notified a recruitment to fill up 684 vacant posts of Judicial Assistant, Stenographers, Clerks and Personal Assistants in cadre of District Judge from the candidates who have qualified in Graduate in concerned discipline and or any discipline from any University established by Law in India or its equivalent examination and must have basic knowledge of Computer typing for stenography and having eligible age limit. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test , skill test and personal interview. The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Govt. Rules. ABOUT: A greater Rajasthan was formed when Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer also joined the United States of Rajasthan. Maharana Udaipur was made Maharaj Pramukh with Sawai Man Singh of Jaipur as Raj Pramukh. This new State of Rajasthan was inaugurated by Sardar Patel on 30/3/1949 at Jaipur but it actually came into existence on 7/4/1949. Despite this inauguration, the High Court was no formally established simultaneously and existing arrangements at these newly joined States continued. The process of integration of all states was completed only when Matsya union also merged on 15.5.1949. The First High Court of Rajasthan was inaugurated by H.H. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Ji of Jaipur at Jodhpur on 29.8.1949.

1. Junior Judicial Assistant: 535 posts -UR-329, OBC-78, SC-71, ST-57.
2. Clerk Grade-II: 36 posts -UR-20, OBC-7, SC-5, ST-4.
3. Junior Personal Assistant (English): 108 posts -UR-51, OBC-20, SC-21, ST-16.
4. Stenographer Grade-II: 05 posts -UR-4, OBC-1).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduate in concerned discipline and or any discipline from any University established by Law in India or its equivalent examination and must have basic knowledge of Computer typing for stenography.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below –
1. Junior Judicial Assistant and Clerk: Rs.5200-20200/-+ grade pay Rs. 2400/-.
2. Junior Personal Assistant (English) and Steno: Rs.9300-34800/-+ grade pay Rs. 3600/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 18 years – 35 years as on 06-10-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: A non refundable Application fee of Rs. 100/- by General & OBC candidates and Rs. 25/- by ST/SC/PWD & Divorced Female candidates to be paid through online mode or Kiosk.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, Skill test and interview as per post.
