NOTIFICATION: Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission (UPPSC) सम्मिलित अवर अधीनस्थ सेवा प्रार0 परीक्षा सामान्य-विशेष चयन Allahabad has notified a recruitment to fill up 490 vacant posts of Combined Lower Subordinate Service Prelim. Examination-2015 (General/Special) from the candidates who have qualified in Graduate in any discipline and having a eligible age limit. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Interview. The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Govt. Rules. ABOUT: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was constituted on the 1st of April 1937 with its headquarters at Allahabad and has a glorious past of more than 60 years. At the time of its inception The UP Public Service Commission was situated in a few rooms in the then Secretariat, but now apart from a lavish campus at Allahabad, it has a Camp Office in the state capital Lucknow as well. In 1937 only 9,811 applications were disposed and over the years the quantum of work has increased manifold with the disposal of a few lakh applications every year now. The UP Public service Commission has modernized itself with the times and massive computerization is being undertaken presently. The examination system has been partly computerized and the process is still under progress. It has 2 spacious Examination Centers in Allahabad and Lucknow and they can cater to the needs of 3000 candidates at the same time. The number of the members of the Commission has also increased gradually in keeping with the increase in the quantum of work of the Commission and now there are 8 members in it. The working of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is also regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Bachelors Degree of any recognized University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/-+ Grade Pay Rs.5500/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 21 years – 40 years as on 01-07-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: I - General & OBC: Rs. 125/-. Ii - SC & ST: Rs. 65/-. Iii - Handicapped: Rs. 25/-.
Procedure for Fee: During filling Online application, the Candidates will get a ‘Registration’ format of the On-line application, after that the candidate must print out the E-challan in duplicate. The E-Challan will be used to deposit the fee in any of the branches of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank by the candidate according to his category. The fee will not be allowed to be deposited by any other mode except E-Challan.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Interview.
