NOTIFICATION: Government of India, Ministry of Defence has notified a recruitment to fill up 89 vacant posts of various Tradesman Mate, Fireman and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) for 119 (I) INF BDE GP OMC, C/O 56 APO from the candidates who have qualified in Matriculate or its equivalent in concerned discipline and having eligible age limit. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in PET, Written test, Medical test, Skill test and personal interview. The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Govt. 1. Tradesman Mate: 55 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200¬ – 20200/- + 1800/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation from any recognized Board.
2. Fireman: 32 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200¬ – 20200/- +1900/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of Matriculation from any recognized Board.
3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 02 posts.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200¬ – 20200/- + 1900/-.
Required Qualification: A passed of Intermediate from any recognized Board.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 18 years – 25 years as on 01-01-2015.
ELIGIBILITY: As given below -
• Physical Standard for the Post of Tradesman Mate: Candidates should be in sound health.
• Physical Standard for the Post of Fireman: Candidates must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must pass the tests specified below -
(a) Height without shoes -165 erns provided that a concession of 2.5 ems height shall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes.
(b) Chest (Normally) - 81.5 cms.
(c) Chest (On expansion) - 85 cms.
(d) Weight - 50 Kgs (Minimum).
(e) Endurance Test -
(i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63,5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meter within 96 Seconds).
(ii) Clearing 2.7 metE3rswide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
(iii) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in various tests given below –
• Tradesman Mate and Fireman: (a) Running -1600 Mtrs, (b) Sit Ups, (c) Chin Ups, (d) Lifting of 50 Kgs weight, (e) Stacking of Packages, (f) Written test, (g) Interview.
• LDC: (a) Written test (b) Interview. (c) English Typing© 35 w.p.m and Hindi typing @ 30 w.p.m on computer.
• All tests for the post of Tradesman Mate, Fireman and LDe will be held on screening basis i.e. the candidates have to pass in the first test in order to be eligible for the second test and so on.
• Candidate will produce his original documents at the time of recruitment otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in recruitment.
