NOTIFICATION: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), has notified a recruitment to fill up 1042 vacant posts of Guardsfor Special India Reserve (Primitive Tribes) Battalion from the residents of Jharkhand resrved district for special tribes candidates who have qualified in VIIth class and having eligible age limit. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Education qualification & Physical Test and personal interview. The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Govt. Rules. ABOUT: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (J.S.S.C.) has been constituted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008) and it has been published vide Gazette notification no. 829 dated 06 December 2008 of Jharkhand Government. Jharkhand Act 2008 has been amended by Jharkhand Act 03,2011 and Jharkhand Act 19,2011; published vide Gazette notification nos. 153 dt. 24 February 2011 and 687 dated 11 October 2011 respectively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of VIIth class.
PAY SCALE: Rs.5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1800/-.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 18 years – 30 years as on 26-10-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: No application fee is required.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, Physical Efficiency test and interview as per post.
