ABOUT: Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is the government legal body which releases various Recruitment Notifications and conducts various competitive tests on behalf of Government. Joint Public Service Commission, the precursor of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), with its writ running from the Khyber Pass to the Jamuna near Delhi, was born at Lahore on May 1, 1937. In the wake of the partition, the Punjab Public Service Commission resurged in February, 1948, at Shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of east Punjab. Following the merger of the states of Punjab and Pepsu, it shifted to Patiala on nov.1st, 1956. On 1st nov1966, its territorial jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the states of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Medical Officer (Dental): A passed of Bachelor of Dental surgery from any recognized
University of Institute or any equivalent degree of Dental.
2. Assistant District Attorney: A passed of degree of Bachelor in Law from any recognized University/Institution for all other posts.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 10300 – 34800/-+Rs. 4800/- GP for Assistant District Attorney and Rs. 5400/- for Medical Officer.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s age should be in between of 18 years – 37 years as on 19-10-2015.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED FEE: Refer notification.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
