REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: As per details given below -
Group “X”- A Passed of Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate & 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed of 3 year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from any Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.
GROUP ‘Y’ {except IAF(S) & Musician} Trades - Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed of 2 years Vocational Course affiliated/recognized by CBSE / State Education Boards / Councils duly recognized at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Note: Boards recognized/affiliated by Council of Boards for Secondary Education (COBSE) will only be permitted. Exact aggregate percentage of marks up to first place of decimal for all subjects as mentioned in the Marks Sheet of Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent will only be considered (For example, 49.9% will be treated as 49% only).
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s max required age on date of enrollment is 21 years. Candidates should be born in between of 01-02-1996 to 31-05-1999 (both days inclusive).
PAY SCALE: During training, a stipend of Rs. 11,400/- per month will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance will be: - (a) Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. Rs. 24,900/- per month (approx.) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 43,940/- per month (approx). (b) Group ‘Y’ (For Medical Assistant only) Trades. Rs. 20,500/- per month (approx) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 38,720/- per month (approx). Other allowances such as Technical allowance, Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Family planning allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR IN RALLY: The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) & Group ‘Y’ Trades will be held at Padmashri Govind Ram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Gaurav Path, Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) from 17-12-2015 to 22-12-2015 as per the Selection Programme given in schedule.
1- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination from any of the recognized Boards/Institute.
2- The School / College / Education Boards / Councils from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical / administrative limits of the State of Chhattisgarh. If the name of District is not mentioned with the name of Institution in the certificate / marks sheet of qualifying examination, the candidates are to produce “Domicile Certificate” issued by Executive Magistrate/DM/SDM or any official authorized by the State Government of Chhattisgarh will only be accepted.
3- Permanent Domicile of States of Chhattisgarh who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India. However, such candidates have to produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority.
4- Sons of Serving / Retired / Discharged / Deceased Air Force Personnel, irrespective of their domicile status may be permitted to appear in the rally subject to submission of Son of Air Force Personnel Certificate as a proof in the following categories–
a. Father/Mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit located in States of Chhattisgarh.
b. Ex-IAF personnel/families of deceased personnel who are residing in the States of Chhattisgarh (on production of proof of minimum stay of one year along with Original and a photocopy of discharge book).
MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR GROUP ‘X’ (TECHNICAL) & “Y” TRADES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1-Height - Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
2- Chest - Minimum range of expansion- 5 cms.
3- Weight - Proportionate to Height and Age.
4- Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) - Not acceptable.
5- Hearing - Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
6- Dental - Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
7- Health - Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
8- Body Tattoo - Permanent body tattoos on inner face of the fore arms (inside of elbow to the wrist), Back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm and Tribal’s with tattoos which are as per custom and traditions of their tribes only are permitted. However, right to decide on acceptability/ unacceptability of the individual rests with the Selection Centre. Candidates with permanent body tattoos are to submit a photo-graph of the tattoo with details of size and type of the Tattoo at the time of appearing for rally recruitment.

POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable as per Govt. rules for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and widow candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), personal Interview and Medical examination.
REGISTRATION SCHEDULE: All eligible & interested candidates are required to fill up the Registration Form (typed on A4 size paper) format as given on website and report to registration venue /Recruitment Venue along with duly filled up registration/Application form with original documents and their photocopies.
WRITING MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED: Candidates are to bring the following items along with them for attending rally recruitment-
1. HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
2. Seven copies of recent front portrait (without headgear except for Sikh) passport-size (5 cm X 4 cm) colour photograph taken on or after advertisement of this notification. Photographs should be on good quality “photo paper”.
3. Original and 4 photocopies of Matriculation Passing Certificate (required for Date of Birth verification).
4. Original and 4 photocopies of Matriculation Marks Sheet (only applicable for Diploma Holders when English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
5. Original and 4 photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet.
OR
6. Original and 4 photocopies of 3 year Diploma Course Passing Certificate and Marks Sheets of all the semesters.
7. Original and 4 photocopies of Domicile, Son of Air Force Personnel (SOAFP) as well as NCC Certificates (if applicable).
NOTE: Under any circumstances the candidates will not be permitted to appear in the Rally without Original Matriculation pass certificate/marks sheet, Intermediate/Three year Diploma Course passing certificate, Intermediate/Three year Diploma Course Mark sheet (s) and Domicile Certificate. However, candidates with photocopies of above stated Educational Certificates/Marks Sheets can be permitted to appear in the Rally only on production of a certificate from College/ School Principal certifying that Educational Certificates/Mark sheets are deposited with College/School.
VENUE: The Registration for the Recruitment Rally will be done at Padmashri Govind Ram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Gaurav Path, Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) from 0700 Hr to 1300 Hrs as per the given schedule.
SELECTION PROCEDURE – As per details given below -
VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY: Original Certificates, Mark Sheets and other required documents {NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate, Son of Air Force personnel certificate (SOAFP), Domicile certificate etc.) will be scrutinized and verified at the examination venue prior to commencement of Written Test to ascertain the prima-facie eligibility. Detailed verification will be carried out in respect of candidates who pass Written Test later. Candidature of those who do not meet the laid down educational criteria is liable to be rejected even after written test after detailed verification of original documents.
NOTE: The original Passing Certificates / Marks Sheets will not be retained by the Selection Centre. The same will be returned to the candidates on completion of detailed verification.
SEQUENCE OF EXAMINATION - As per details given below -
1 - WRITTEN TEST: Written test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English Paper. Duration of the written test will 60 minutes and will be conducted in English, Physics and Mathematics as per CBSE syllabus of AISSCE. CANDIDATES ARE TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY. Results of the written test will be declared on the same day there itself.
2 - PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT): Those candidates who qualify the written test are to undergo for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) on the same or the next day. PFT consists of a 1.6 Kms run to be completed within 8 minutes. Candidates will also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test. Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts for appearing in rally recruitment.
3 - INTERVIEW: The candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will go for interview at same place. Working knowledge of English is a prerequisite by all candidates.
4 - MEDICAL EXAMINATION: Candidates who qualify in the interview will be medically examined in the month of January 2016. Medical Examination will be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue. Medical Examination would also include Baseline Investigation of:
(a) Hb, TLC, DLC
(e) Serum Cholesterol
(b) Blood Sugar Fasting/PP
(f) X-Ray chest PA view (Plain)
(c) Urea, Uric Acid and Creatinine
(g) ECG (R)
(d) Serum bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT.
NOTE: Candidates declared Medically unfit can avail the option for Appeal Medical Board (AMB) against their Unfitness by depositing Rs. 40/- in a Government Treasury/RBI/SBI through Military Receivable Order (MRO). The application for AMB along with original copy of MRO, photocopy of Unfitness Certificate and Postal Stamp worth Rs. 25/- affixed on a self-addressed envelope are to be submitted at MBC (Medical Board Centre), 3 Air Force Hospital, Amla within 3 working days from the date of issue of Medical Unfitness Certificate.
HOW TO APPLY: As per details given below-
RALLY RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME: The Rally recruitment test will be conducted from 7:00 AM onward as per the details given below. Candidates from respective Districts covered under that area should report from 0700 Hrs to 1300 Hrs on 17-12-2015 to 22-12-2015 at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
PUBLISHING OF AISL/RESULT: The All India Select List (AISL) will be displayed at 15 Airmen Selection Centre, Second Floor, Phase-II, Rajiv Gandhi Parisar, 35 Shyamala Hills, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh - 462002 on 30 April 2016. AISL will be published separately for Group ‘X’ Trades. In Group ‘Y’ Trades, list of candidates found suitable for Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police) trades will be published separately. Copies of the Display List will be sent to District Magistrate of Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) (through Airmen Selection Centre) and will also be available at Central Airmen Selection Board website www.airmenselection.gov.in
