NOTIFICATION: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) Panchkula inviting online applications for filling up 1647 vacant posts of Assistant Professors in various disciplines (College Cadre) HES-II vacancies in various subjects in Higher Education Department on Contractual basis from eligible and interested willing candidates. Job seekers, who wish to apply for these new vacancies regarding Recruitment 2016, must have passed good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from any Foreign University/ Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard/ “National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grant Commission, Counsel of Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission like SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professor in Colleges- Provided that the candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D degree) regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in colleges, Provided further that NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted” with a required experience if asked. Applicant’s upper age should be asp er Govt rules. As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable to all reserved category candidates i. e.SC/ST/OBC/PWH/Ex Servicemen/Women candidates etc.

PAY SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100/-+GP Rs.6000/-.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s age should be as per Govt rules. Candidates should be between 21 to 42 years as on 15-02-2016.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: A non refundable Application fee as per category, the given amount is to be paid by eligible candidate. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for General & DESM and Rs. 125/- for SC/ Backward Classes/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women/ Special Backward Classes/Economically Backward persons in General Castes Category.
No fee from Physically Handicapped persons.
POST RESERVATION: Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
