NOTIFICATION: Department of Post, Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Postal Circle, New Delhi (A Government of India Undertaking) inviting offline applications for filling up 66 vacant posts of Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), Postman & Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies under Sports Quota on direct recruitment basis from eligible and interested willing candidates. It is latest & good information for unemployed personnel those who are looking for these new Jobs in Government sector & other organizations. Job seekers, who wish to apply for these vacancies regarding Recruitment 2016, must have passed 10th/ Matric/ Std XII with a required experience if asked. NO OF POSTS: 66 vacant posts of Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), Postman & Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies under Sports Quota in Department of Post, Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Postal Circle, New Delhi.
1. Postal Assistant: 16 posts.
2. Sorting Assistant: 07 posts.
3. Postman: 28 posts.
4. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 15 posts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10th, 12th or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ Institution with sports qualities.
SPORTS DISCIPLINES: Badminton, Cricket, Chess, Weight Lifting / Power Lifting / Best Physique (Body Building), Wrestling, Football, Table Tennis, Athletics / Marathon, Kabaddi and Hockey.
SPORTS QUALIFICATION: The candidates with the following qualifications shall be considered meritorious for the purpose of recruitment under sports quota -
1. Sportsperson who have represented a state or the country in the National or International competitions in the sports/games.
2. Sportsperson who have represented their University in the Inter-University tournaments conducted by the Inter- University sports boards in the sports/games.
3. Sportsperson who have represented the State School Team in the National Sports/Games for the schools conducted by the All India School Sports / Games Federation in the sports/games.
4. Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Disciplines Wise Posts:
1. Postal Assistant: Badminton (Men/Women), Cricket (Men) Chess (Men), TI (Men /Women) and Hockey (men).
2. Sorting Assistant: Cricket (Men).
3. Postman: Weight lifting (Men-62Kg & 69Kg), Power Lilting (Men- 661(g), Best Physique (Men), Wrestling (Men- 57Kg, 65Kg, 74Kg, 86Kg & 97Kg), Football (Men), Kabaddi (Men), Hockey (Men).
4. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Cricket (Men), Football (Men), Athletics (Men.), Kabaddi (Men), Hockey (Men).
PAY SCALE: As per Govt rules –
1. Postal Assistant: ₹ 5,200-20,200/- + Grade pay ₹ 2,400/-+ admissible allowances.
2. Sorting Assistant: ₹ 5,200-20,200/- + Grade pay ₹ 2,400/-+ admissible allowances.
3. Postman: ₹ 5,200-20,200/- + Grade pay ₹ 2,000/-+ admissible allowances.
4. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): ₹ 5,200-20,200/- + Grade pay ₹ 1800/-+ admissible allowances.
REQUIRED AGE: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years – 25/27 years as on 24-08-2016.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. ₹ 100/- in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, drawn in favour of "Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle" payable at the Post Office "New Delhi GPO, New Delhi-110001". Original Indian Postal Order must be enclosed with the duly filled application form.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in written exam, Skill test and Interview/Sport trial.
