REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Dy. CHIEF FIRE OFFICER: A passed of SSC or equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry. + Passed the Divisional Officer’s Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre OR Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/London/ B.E. in Fire Engineering.
2. Driver-cum-Operator: A passed of SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence. Persons having knowledge of Fire Fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. will be given preference.
3. DRIVER (ORDINARY GRADE): A passed of 10th Standard/ must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive Light and Heavy Vehicle. Ability to read and fill up routine forms in English/Hindi desirable.
4. FIREMAN: A passed of SSC or equivalent/ Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
5. LEADING FIREMAN: A passed of SSC or equivalent. Experience as a Fireman in a well-established Fire Service Organization. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre and valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference/ Sub Officers Course from National Fire Services College. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
6. STATION OFFICER: A passed of SSC or equivalent + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence + certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London/ B.E. in Fire Engineering.
7. SUB OFFICER: A passed of SSC or equivalent plus Sub-Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Dy. Chief Fire Officer: Rs.56,100/- + DA.
2. Station Officer: Rs.47,600/- + DA.
3. Sub Officer: Rs.35,400/- + DA will be paid.
4. Leading Fireman: Rs. 25,500/- + DA.
5. Fireman: Rs.19,900/- + DA.
6. Driver-cum-Operator: Rs. 21,700/- + DA.
7. Driver: Rs.19,900/- + applicable DA will be given to candidate.
