REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: A passed of Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any recognized University. Possession of NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/ Personality Test only.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Paramilitary regulations given in notice.
SEX: Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF and CISF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.
PAY SCALE: Rs.15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs.5400/- for UPSC Recruitment 2017 for 179 Assistant Commandants Vacancies.
REQUIRED AGE: In between of 20 years-25 years as on 01-08-2017 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1992 and not later than 1st August, 1997. .
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
