2. Head Master: 01 Post (Women unsuitable).
EDUCATIONA QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
Assistant Professor: A passed of Good academic record, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade B in 7 point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent Degree from an accredited foreign University with NET/ SLET/ SSET qualification, proficiency to communicate (spoken and written) effectively in Bengali & English.
Head Master: A passed of Second class Master’s Degree with Honours Degree of an Indian University or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
NOTE: Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is an essential (not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
PAY SCALE: As per details given below –
1. Assistant Professor: Rs.15, 600 – Rs.39100/-+ Academic Grade Pay Rs.6,000/-.
2. Head Master: Rs.15, 600 – Rs.42,000/-+ Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/-.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18/21 years – 37/45 years as on 01-01-2017 for WBPSC Assistant Professor & Head Master Vacancy 2017 for 261 Posts.
Assistant Professor: Candidates maximum age should be less than 37 years as on 01-01-2017.
Head Master: Candidates age should be in between of 18 to 45 years as on 01-01-2017.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. General & OBC candidates have to pay application fee which is Rs. 210/- +Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. No fee from S.C/ S.T candidates of West Bengal/ Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40%. No exemption of fee is available to SC/ ST candidates of other states & BC candidates.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
