EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: A passed of Graduation /Post Graduation in given stream or its equivalent qualification with working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both from any recognized Board/University or Institutions –
1. Science Stream: B. Sc / B. Sc (IT) / BCA / BE / B. Tech / M. Sc / M.Sc (IT) / MCA / M Tech (with or without B. Ed) with any of the following subjects:-
a. Physics (ae) Botany.
b. Chemistry (af) Zoology.
c. Mathematics (ag) Electronics.
d. Biology (ah) Computer Science.
2. Arts Stream: BA / MA (with or without B Ed) with any of the following subjects:-
a. English Literature (af) Political Science.
b. Hindi Literature (ag) Economics.
c. Urdu Literature (ah) Psychology.
d. History (aj) Mathematics.
e. Geography (ak) Sociology.
Minimum Physical Measurements for Male Candidates:
A- For Western Himalayan -
– Height Required: 162 Cm.
– Chest Required: 77 Cm.
– Weight Required: 48 Kg.
B- For Eastern Himalayan –
– Height Required: 160 Cm.
– Chest Required: 77 Cm.
– Weight Required: 48 Kg.
C- Rest Of The Country –
– Height Required: 162 Cm.
– Chest Required: 77 Cm.
– Weight Required: 50 Kg.
MEDICAL STANDARD: A candidate should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed having minimum 5 cm expansion, should have normal hearing with each ear, should have sufficient number of natural teeth, i.e. 14 dental points with healthy gums. Candidate should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles.
PAY SCALE: Pay and allowances -
1. Group ‘X’ (Post Graduate / Graduate Degree with B. Ed.): On completion of successful training you will be placed in the Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200/-) as per 6th pay commission. You will also be entitled Grade Pay (Rs 2800/-) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000/-) + Group “X” Pay (Rs 1400/-) per month.
2. Group ‘Y’ (Graduate Degree without B. Ed.): On completion of successful training you will be placed in the Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200/-) as per 6th pay commission. You will also be entitled Grade Pay (Rs 2800/-) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000/-) per month.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 20 years – 25/28 years as on 01-10-2017 for Indian Army Havildar Education Recruitment 2017 -
1. Civilian Candidates: 20 to 25 years as on 01 Oct 2017 (i.e. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1992 and 30 Sep 1997 inclusive of both dates).
2. Serving Combatants on Remusteration: 20 to 28 years as on 01 Oct 2017 (i.e. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1989 and 30 Sep 1997 inclusive of both dates).
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. Refer notification.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Initial Screening, Physical Fitness Tests (PFT), Written Examination, Teaching Aptitude Test, Medical test and Interview.

1. Click on the portion „Apply Online‟ on the home page in JCO/ OR enrolment row (green coloured).
2. Fill in the online registration form. Tips to assist in filling up field have been provided as you highlight each field.
3. After filling the details, your profile will open.
4. Click on Apply Online. As per your eligibility, the options with caption Apply Online will appear. Click on the Button to apply and details filled in during registration will come as prefilled. Fill the balance details on each tab like contact details and education details etc.
5. After filling the form, click on preview and check if all the information entered by you is correct as you will not be able to make any correction after saving.
6. On submitting you will receive a Roll Number.
7. Candidates can log in by using the e-mail id and password and candidates can take the print out of the details any time.
8. Online registration does not imply that the candidate has fulfilled all the criteria for recruitment.
