Preliminary Exam pattern: The preliminary examination will be of 45-minute duration, with two sections carrying 80 marks for 80 questions.
For Officer Scale I there will be 40 questions of reasoning and 40 questions of quantitative aptitude while for Office Assistant there will be 40 questions of reasoning and 40 questions of numerical ability. The medium of exam will be Hindi or English.
To be successful (for both posts), one needs to qualify in both the tests by securing a minimum cut-off marks set by the IBPS.
Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the IBPS (No Interview for Office Assistant post).

Note: (1). Under IBPS RRB recruitment, for the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.

For the post of Officers Scale I under IBPS RRB recruitment, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2017: Exam Dates as per Official Calendar –
1. Officer Scale I Prelims: 09.09.2017, 10.09.2017 and 16.09.2017.
2. Officer Scale II & III Single Exam: 05.11.2017.
3. Officer Scale I Mains: 05.11.2017.
4. Office Assistant Prelims: 17, 23 & 24.09.2017.
5. Office Assistant Mains: 12.11.2017.

Preliminary Exam pattern: The preliminary examination will be of 45-minute duration, with two sections carrying 80 marks for 80 questions.
For Officer Scale I there will be 40 questions of reasoning and 40 questions of quantitative aptitude while for Office Assistant there will be 40 questions of reasoning and 40 questions of numerical ability. The medium of exam will be Hindi or English.
To be successful (for both posts), one needs to qualify in both the tests by securing a minimum cut-off marks set by the IBPS.
Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the IBPS (No Interview for Office Assistant post).

Note: A candidate can apply for the post of Office Assistant and can also apply for that of an Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in Officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale I or Scale II or Scale III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post applied for.

4) You will be directed to login page.
5) Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register by entering basic information.
6) Provisional registration number and password will be displayed on screen.
7) Note down provisional registration number and password.
8) Log in again using provisional registration number and password through ‘Login for already Registered Candidates’.
9) Fill in online application and upload the required documents.
10) Use “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify details in application form and modify if required. No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT button.
11) For the posts of office assistant (multipurpose) and officers Scale I, the candidate should indicate on the form the state to which they want to opt for provisional allotment on selection. Option once exercised will be irrevocable.
12) The application form is integrated with payment gateway and payment process can be completed by following instructions.
13) An e-receipt will be generated once fee is paid successfully.
14) Take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form for future reference.
