NOTIFICATION: South Railway (SR) Perambur, Arakkonam, Chennai (A Government of India Undertaking) inviting offline applications for filling up 658 vacant posts of Act Apprentices in various trades (Fitter, Electrician, R & AC, Wire-man, Winder, Cable Joiner, Electronics Mechanic, Welder, Carpenter, Machinist, MMV, PASAA & Turner) from eligible and interested willing candidates. It is latest & useful information for unemployed personnel those who are looking for required Job in Government sector & other organizations. Job seekers, who wish to apply for these new vacancies regarding Recruitment 2017, must have passed Matriculation/12th or equivalent and ITI from any recognized Board / University with a required experience if asked. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
A- Fresher Category – (Carpenter, Painter & Welder): A passed of 10th Class under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Institution.
1. (Electrician & Fitter): A passed of 10th Class under 10 +2 System of education with Science and Mathematics as one of the subjects or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Institution.
2. Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology, Pathology and Cardiology): A passed of 12th Class under 10+2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any recognized Board/Institution.
B- Experience for ITI Category -
1. Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Welder, Wireman, Cable Jointer Mechanic Refrigeration and Air conditioning, PASAA & Electronics Mechanic: A passed of 10th Class under 10 +2 System of education and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI.
2. Electrician, Turner, Fitter, Machinist MMV & Winder (Armature): A passed of 10th Class under 10 +2 System of education with Science and Mathematics as one of the subjects or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI.
3. Mechanic (HT, LT Equipment & Cable Jointing): A passed of 10th Class under 10 +2 System of education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent and Broad based Basic training in Electrical Sector under centre of Excellence Scheme and Advanced module of Centre of Excellence Scheme in Operation and Maintenance of equipment used in HT, L T Substation and Cable Jointing.
Note: The candidates who have registered with an employment exchange falling in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Puducherry alone are eligible to apply. However for SC/ST candidates and wards of Serving/ Retired/ Deceased Railway employees belonging to the above states such registration with employment exchange is not required.
PAY SCALE/STIPEND: As per details given below -
Diesel Mechanic Trades -
1. During the first year of training – Rs.5,900/-.
2. During the second year of training – Rs.6,700/-.
3. During a third of training – Rs.7,550/-.
Other Trades -
1. During the first year of training – Rs.5,700/-.
2. During the second year of training – Rs.6,500/-
3. During the third and fourth year of training – Rs.7,350/-.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s age should be in between of 15 years – 22/24 years as on 15-06-2017 for Southern Railway Recruitment 2017 Apply 658 Apprentice RRC Chennai.
AGE RELAXATION: Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
