1. Aircraft Technician: 14 posts - (SC -07, ST -07).
2. Skilled Trades Men in Upholstery and Painting Trades: 05 posts - (ST - 01, OBC - 02, General - 02).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Aircraft Technician: A passed of AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from any Institution approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B with 60% marks/ equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Candidates from DGCA Approved AME Training Institute as per current list are who eligible Or for Ex-servicemen Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/ Engine/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio trades conducted by the Indian Air-force, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination Or successful Completion of 4 years course I Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Artificer training, conducted by Indian Navy, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination Or Diploma in Engineering 3 years in Technical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade ( 55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). The candidates must have at-least 01 years Aviation experience post-qualification on B737-800 Aircraft Maintenance or B737-800 Aircraft components.
2. Skilled Trades: A passed of ITI in painting / Upholstery issued by Govt. of India or KGTE / KGCE, issued by state Govt. with minimum 3 years work experience post-qualification in painting/ Upholstery trades in any reputed Organisation.
PAY SCALE: (For Experienced Aircraft Technician and Trades Men in Upholstery and Painting Trades) - Emoluments will be as per approved salary structure for Technician and will be approximately Rs. 20000/-Per Month at the time of joining. The selected candidates would have a career progression in the Company as per the approved career progression for Technicians in AIESL.
AGE LIMIT: As per details given below -
• Aircraft Technician: Max 35 years as on 01-09-2017.
• Skilled Trades: Max 45 years as on 01-09-2017.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for Air India Vacancy Aircraft Technician & Tradesmen Jobs Walk in -Interview.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL TEST: Candidates will be required to undergo Medical Test as specified by the Company Doctor at the specific center as advised and produce a certificate with regard to Medical Fitness and submit it to the Company’s Medical Department.
