EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Soldier Technical: A passed of 10+2/ Intermediate Examination in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject or 10th class with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 3 years Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE recognized Institute.
2. Soldier Nursing Assistant: A passed of 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 40% marks in compulsory subjects and minimum 50% marks in aggregate or B. Sc Degree (Botany/ Zoology/ Biology Science) and English. Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable for B. Sc degree.
3. Soldier Tradesman (All ARMS): A passed of 8th class from any recognized Board (For House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce).
4. Soldier Tradesman (All ARMS): A passed of 10th Class from any recognized Board (For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Woodwork), Artisan (Metallurgy) Suport Staff (ER) Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass / ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken Class X Board Exam would be considered).
PHYSICAL FITNESS: Physical standards/ Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for commission in the Armed Forces.
PAY SCALE: Rs 30000/- per month as per 7th Pay Commission and allowances as admissible along with other facilities such as free ration/ ration money, clothing, medical for self and accommodation, Railway warrant for self and dependents, Group Housing Scheme, Army Group Insurance Scheme of Rs 25,00,000/-.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 17 years 06 months to 23 years as 01-10-2017 for Tradesmen Posts.
NOTE: Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their parents’ consent certificate.
