EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC from any recognized Board/Institute/University with required experience in relevant discipline. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak native/regional language of particular state.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 13150-34990/- Gross Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 32124/- (approx) for RBI Recruitment 2017 - 2018 Apply for 623 Assistant posts.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 20 years - 28 years as on 01-10-2017. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/10/1989 and not later than 01/10/1997 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Preliminary and Main examination followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT) -

Exam Pattern – RBI Assistant Recruitment 2017: The selection process for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2017 will be through 2 stages of Online Examinations and a Language Proficiency Test.
Note: All sections, except the English language, will be available bilingually (both Hindi and English).
There will be sectional cut offs as well as overall cut offs.
There will be negative marking. A penalty of 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
A. Preliminary Exam Pattern: This will be a 100 mark paper with a composite time of 1 hour. It will be an online objective test.
B. Main Exam Pattern: Those who qualify through the Prelims Exam are eligible to write the Mains Exam. This will be a 200 mark paper with a composite time of 2 hours. It will be an online objective Test.
There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks in the RBI Assistant Mains Exam.
The Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, i.e., English & Hindi.
Once you qualify in this exam, you will be called for the Language Proficiency Test.
C. Language Proficiency Test: All those who qualify in the RBI Assistant Mains will have to undergo a Language Test.
The Language Proficiency Test will be conducted in the Official Language of the particular State. (The candidates provisionally selected from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned.
Final Selection will be based on the RBI Assistant Mains Exam + Biometric Verification + Language Proficiency Test.

List of training centres given below is indicative. Candidates opting for pre examination training will be intimated about the training by the Regional Office. All expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will be borne by the candidates for attending the Pre-Examination Training programme at the concerned Pre Examination Training Centre. Depending upon the response and administrative feasibility the right to cancel any of the pre-examination training centres and/ or add some other Centres and/ or make alternative arrangements is reserved.
