NO OF VACANCIES:     Various vacant posts of Navik (General Duty) 10+2 Entry for – 02/2018, Batch in Indian Coast Guard - भारतीय तटरक्षक.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:        A passed of 10+2 class with 50% marks aggregate in total and minimum 50% aggregate in Maths and Physics from an education Board recognized by Central/State Government.

PAY SCALE:       Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) + Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the regulation enforced time to time.

AGE LIMIT:     Applicant’s required age should be in between of 18 years to 22 years as on 01-10-2017 (i.e. between 01 Aug 1996 to 31 Jul 2000 (both dates inclusive)) for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2018 for Navik GD 10+ 2 Entry.

AGE RELAXATION:      As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.

Medical Standards:   As per Organization rules -

(a) Height:    Minimum height 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.

(b) Chest:    Should be well proportioned with minimum expansion 5 cms.

(c) Weight:    Proportionate to height and age +-10 percentage acceptable.

(d) Hearing:    Normal.

(e) Visual Standard:    6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9 (Worse Eye). (Candidates using glasses are not eligible)
