Discipline/Trade Wise Vacancies -
A- Graduate Apprentices – 325 posts -
1. Civil Engineering – 300 posts.
2. Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 15 posts.
3. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) – 10 posts.
B - Technician (Diploma) Apprentices – 175 posts -
1. Civil Engineering – 150 posts.
2. Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 15 posts.
3. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) – 10 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
A. Graduate Apprentices: A passed of a Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by any Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
B. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A passed of a Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by any University in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by any Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
• Graduate Apprentice – Rs.4984/- pm.
• Technician Apprentice – Rs.3542/- pm.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 14 years – 25 years as on 01-07-2017 (Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules) for TN PWD Recruitment 2017 Notification for 500 Graduate Apprentice Jobs.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.

Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR), Chennai.
