NO OF VACANCIES: 147 vacant posts of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Director and Junior Electrical Inspectors through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Chennai.
Combined Engineering Services Examination -
1. Assistant Director: 14 Posts.
2. Junior Electrical Inspector: 03 Posts.
3. Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering): 117 Posts.
4. Assistant Engineer: 13 posts.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: A passed of Degree in Mechanical or Production or Industrial or Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Textile Technology / Degree in Electrical Engineering / B.E. (Agriculture) or B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) or B. Sc (Agricultural Engineering)/ B.E. in Mechanical/ Civil/ B. Tech (Automobile Engineering) or B. E. Production Engineering) or Industrial Engineering / Degree in Civil Engineering/ have passed in section A and B Examination (AMIE) in Civil Engineering Branch conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) and practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year from any recognized University or Institute /Candidate should have knowledge of Tamil Language.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300 - 34800/- + Grade pay Rs.5100/- p. m (Pre revised).
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years – 30 years as on 01-07-2017 for TNPSC Jobs 2017 for 147 Assistant Director, Junior Electrical Inspector Posts.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 150/- by General & BC candidates have to register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory. Candidates have to pay application fee in the form of Online through State Bank of India/Indian Bank.
