EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –

1. Gliding Instructor: A passed of 10 + 2 in Physics and Mathematics from any recognized University or equivalent + (A) 200 hours of experience on glider as a Pilot in command of which 50 hours of dual instructional flying as Instructor.

2. Civil Hydrographic Officer: A passed of a Degree in Engineering or Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics OR pass in the final examination of the Institution of Surveyors in Sub-Division 1(b) Hydrographic surveying from any recognized University or equivalent.

3. Specialist Grade-III (Tuberculosis): A passed of a recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

4. Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering): A passed of first Class Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized University or equivalent.

5. Professor (Technical) (Computer Science and Engineering): A passed of Bachelor of Engineering /Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering/Master of Technology and Ph. D. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering from any recognized University or equivalent.

6. Associate Professor (Technical) (Computer Science and Engineering): A passed of Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering /Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering/Master of Technology and Ph. D. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering from any recognized University or equivalent.

7. 3. Specialist Grade-III (Tuberculosis) – Rs.15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-.

5. Professor (Technical) (Computer Science and Engineering) – Rs. 37400-67000/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-.

AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 30/35/40/45/50 years for UPSC ADVT 23/2017 FOR 23 ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SPECIALIST & VARIOUS VACANCY.

AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
