Post Wise Vacancies –
1. General Teacher: 1296 posts.
2. Science/Maths Teacher: 644 posts.
3. Urdu Teacher: 214 posts.
4. Driver: 10 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. General Teacher: A passed Graduation with B. Ed/ M. Ed/ PG/ M. Phil/ Ph. D from any recognised University.
2. Science/Maths Teacher: A passed Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany with B. Ed/ M. Ed/ PG/ M. Phil/ Ph. D from any recognised University
3. Urdu Teacher: A passed Graduation & Urdu as a Primary subject in Degree with B. Ed/ M. Ed/ PG/ M. Phil/ Ph. D from any recognised University
4. Driver: A passed of 10th class and having an Academic Sessions with qualifying marks from the Board & valid Driving License From RTO.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- to Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 – 40 years as on 01-01-2017 for JKSSB Teacher Recruitment 2018 for 2164 General Teacher, Science/Math Teacher.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. Candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit framed out of 100 points having 85 points for a multiple choice based written test and 15 points for preference to B. Ed/M. Ed and higher qualifications. The said 15 points shall be awarded across the board as per the following break-up –
1. B. Ed – 5 points
2. M. Ed- 5 points
3. PG (2 years) or Integrated PG (5 years) – 2 points
4. M. Phil- 1 point
5. Ph. D (after M. Phil) – 2 points, if direct Ph. D (3 points).
Driver: There shall be no interview/viva for these posts. Candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit framed on account of driving/practical test.
