SSC Result:       What has been cited as a 'technical glitch' by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is actually a good news for SSC CGL- 2017 aspirants. The Commission has released the revised result for SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2017 on 11-01-2018. After repeatedly postponing the Tier 2 exam, SSC has come up with a fresh result list for the Tier 1 exam. by lowering cut off marks this time (close to 4 or 5 marks per category), 39434 more candidates have cleared it to the Tier 2 exam list. Why Delayed:    However it was discovered that due to a technical glitch, a few tentative Answer Keys had not been revised. Then Commission, therefore, undertook a comprehensive review for it. Based on the comprehensive review undertaken by the Commission official, there has been a lowering in the cut off marks which has resulted in the revision of the result.

Where 14515 candidates have cleared it for Tier 2 exam for JSO post, 21946 candidates have been selected for the AAO post tier 2 Exam after the revision. In that 74604 candidates in OBC category have cleared it for tier 2 exam with the minimum cut off being 110 marks for the category against previous 115. The cut off marks for general category is 126.5 and 55387 candidates have qualified.

SSC CGL Tier 1 result was declared on 30 October, initially. The tier 2 exam was supposed to be held in December 2017.

Admit Cards:    SSC declared that Admit cards for the forthcoming examination will be released 10 days before the exam dates. 'The Admission Certificate of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices approximately 10 days prior the conduct of the Tier-II & III Exams. However the candidates who are unable to download their Admit Cards may contact the concerned Regional Offices at least 7 days before the commencement of the examination. The responsibility of ensuring the downloading of the Admit Cards is solely of the candidates.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2017:     The Staff Selection Commission has released the revised cut-off of the Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) 2017 Tier I exam. The Commission has released the results on October 30, 2017 after checking the answer keys and objections. However, in a note published on the official website, SSC has said, “It was discovered that due to a technical glitch, a few tentative Answer Keys had not been revised. The Commission, therefore, undertook a comprehensive review. Based on the comprehensive review undertaken by the Commission, there has been a lowering in the cut off marks which has resulted in the revision of the result.”

A total of 15,43,418 candidates appeared in the for SSC CGL 2017 exam of which 1,50,404 aspirants have qualified. As many as 30.26 lakh candidates registered for the exam. SSC CGL exam was held from August 05 to 23, 2017.

SSC has revised SSC CGL Result & Cut-Off Marks for 2017 Tier-I Exam. Due to technical glitches, SSC decided on re-evaluating the score of SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam resulting in low Cut-Off for Tier-1 Exam. SSC CGL Cut-Off 2017 (Revised):     The cut-off for SSC CGL-Tier 1 is declared for each Tier of examination after each level of examination is conducted. The cut-off for SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 has been released by SSC on 11-01-2018.

Result of Tier-II & III Exam:      Candidates who have qualified Tier-I will be allowed to give Tier-II & III of the SSC CGL 2017 Exam. Result for the same will be declared once the exam has been conducted for Tier-II & III.

Result for Tier-IV Exam:     It is the Computer Proficiency Test and can be taken anytime as per candidate’s availability. Result for the same will be declared only after all candidates have taken this test.

Final Result:     The final result will be based on the cumulative score of all the levels of examination. Therefore it’s necessary for a candidate to score more in all the levels of examination to guarantee his/her selection in SSC CGL 2017 Exam.
