EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of 10th class + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th class + ITI from Institutions recognised by NCVT /SCVT/ 10th class OR ITI from Institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR THE POSTS: Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of railway staff.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): As per details given below -
Male: Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female: Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
PAY SCALE: Level 01 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs.18000/- + other allowances as admissible.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years - 31 years as on 01-07-2018 for RRC CEN 02/2018 Notification Apply Online for Railway Group D Jobs.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs.500/- by General & OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- by SC/ST/PWD/Women/ Transgender /Minorities/Ex-SM/EBC candidate to be paid through online/offline mode only.

SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates qualified in the CBT shall have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for wrong answer.
The entire recruitment process shall involve a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification.
