EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Director & Dean: A passed of Degree, Master’s Degree with Ph. D in any stream from any Govt. recognized Institution or University.
2. Registrar: A passed of Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks from any recognized Institute /University with 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor.
3. Principal (Agriculture): A passed of Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in concerned relevant discipline by a recognized University / Ph. D Degree in concerned relevant discipline (s) in the Institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
4. Professor: A passed of an eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification (s) in the concerned /relevant discipline from any recognized Institute /University with 10 years of teaching experience.
5. Associate Professor: A passed of Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / relevant disciplines/A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from any recognized Institute /University with 08 years of experience of teaching.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Director of Research & Dean of P.G. Studies: Rs.7400-Rs.67000/-+ AGP Rs.10,000/-.
2. Registrar: Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.7600/-.
3. Principal: Rs.37400-67000/- + AGP Rs.10000/-.
4. Professor & its equivalent: Rs.37,400 – 67,000/- AGP Rs.10,000/-.
5. Associate Professor & its equivalent: Rs.15600-39100/- + AGP Rs.8000/-.
6. Professor & its equivalent in Agriculture (Backlog): Rs.37400-67000/- + AGP Rs.10000/-.
7. Associate Professor & Its equivalent (backlog): Rs.15600-39100/- + AGP Rs.8000/-.
AGE LIMIT: As per details given below -
1. Director of Research & Dean of P.G. Studies: Max 55 years.

AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for JAU Recruitment 2018 | Apply for 101 Associate Professor & Other Posts.
