NOTIFICATION: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) (A Government of India Undertaking) inviting online applications for filling up 414 vacant posts of Officers in various disciplines (Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air force Academy and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women)) through Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2018 on 18-11-2018 for Short /Permanent Commission Officers from eligible and interested willing male & Female candidates. It is latest & good information for unemployed personnel those who are looking for these new Jobs in Government sector & other organizations. NO OF VACANCIES: 414 vacant posts of various Officers in various disciplines through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Course Wise Vacancies -
1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun for 147th (DE) Course commencing in July, 2019 [including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders]: 100 posts.
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala for Course commencing in July, 2019 Executive (General Service)/Hydro [including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders (Naval Wing)]: 45 posts.
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad for (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2019 i.e. No. 206 F (P) Course [03 vacancies are reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl. Entry]: 32 posts.
4. Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) for 110th SSC (Men) Course (NT) commencing in October, 2019. (Including 50 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders for NCC Spl. Entry): 225 posts.
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai for 24th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2019: 12 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy: A passed of Degree of any recognized University or equivalent.
2. Naval Academy: A passed of Degree in Engineering from any recognized University /Institution.
3. Air Force Academy: A passed of Degree of any recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
NOTE: Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB centres.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2018 as per guidelines given in Appendix-IV.
PAY SCALE: Fixed Stipend for cadet Training - Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academies i.e. during training period at IMA and OTA Rs 56100/-p.m.(Starting pay in Level 10) –
New Pay Scale -
1. Lieutenant Level -10: Rs. 10 56,100 – 1,77,500/-.
2. Captain Level – 10B: Rs. 10 B 6,13,00-1,93,900/-.
3. Major Level - 11: Rs. 11 6,94,00 – 2,07,200/-.
4. Lieutenant Colonel Level 12A: Rs. 1,21,200 – 2,12400/-.
5. Colonel Level 13: Rs. 1,30,600-2, 15,900/-.
6. Brigadier Level 13A: Rs. 1,39,600-2,17,600/-.
7. Major General Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/-.
AGE LIMIT: As per details given below –
1- IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
2- Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
3- Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 1st July, 2019 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1999 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1999) only are eligible.
Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family out of the premises.
4- Officers' Training Academy: (SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
5- Officers' Training Academy: (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000.
NOTE: Male divorcee/widower candidates cannot be treated as unmarried male for the purpose of their admission in IMA/INA/AFA courses and accordingly they are not eligible for these courses.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for CDS- II/ 2018 Application Form/ UPSC CDS -II Notification, Apply Online.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs.200/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying of fee.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC / ST /OBC/ Women /Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability /eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in written exam, SSB Interview and Medical Examination.
ADMIT CARD: The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card 3 weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No eAdmit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail i.d. while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

10. Login by using Registration-Id & Date of Birth.
11. Fill in all the required details and upload scanned photo and signature and click on “Submit” Button.
12. After submission of Online Application take print out of finally submitted application and retain it for future reference.
