1. Scientist ‘C’: 11 posts - (Electronics & Communication Engg - 01, Computer Science & Engg/ Information & Technology - 10).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. Scientist ‘E’: A passed of First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science & Engg or Information & Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with min 10 years’ experience in research or design or development or production in the field of Computer Network Operation / Assembly Language Programming and Debugging/Advanced Persistent Threat Analysis /Application Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Desirable: Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field as mentioned in essential qualification and knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.
2. Scientist ‘D’: A passed of First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science & Engg or Information & Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with min 07 years’ experience in research or design or development or production in the field of Assembly Language Debugging / Advanced Persistent Threat Analysis/Application Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing /Digital Forensics & Cyber Emergency Response. Weightage for higher qualification to be equated as research experience for lateral recruitment for Post Graduate Degree in Engineering - Two years and for Doctorate Degree in Engineering - Four years. Desirable: (i) Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field as mentioned in essential qualification and knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese is essential.
3. Scientist ‘C’: A passed of First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation or Electronics & Telecommunication Engg/ Computer Science & Engg / Information & Technology from a recognized university or equivalent with min 03 years’ experience in research or design or development or production in the field of Big Data Analysis (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Hadoop & Map Reduce Technologies)/Assembly Language Debugging/ Advanced Persistent Threat Analysis/Application vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing/ Smart Embedded Devices & emerging Technology (IoTs) from a recognized university or equivalent/Min 03 years’ experience in research or design or development or production in the field of Smart Embedded Devices & Emerging Technology (IoTs)/Weightage for higher qualification to be equated as research experience for lateral recruitment for Post Graduate Degree in Engineering - 2 years and for Doctorate Degree in Engineering - 4 years. Desirable: (i) Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field as mentioned in essential qualification. (ii) Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below –
1. Scientist ‘E’: Rs. 1,23,100/-, Level 13 as per 7th CPC.
2. Scientist ‘D’: Rs. 78,800/-, Level 12 as per 7th CPC.
3. Scientist ‘C’: Rs. 67,700/- , Level 11 as per 7th CPC.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years – 35/45 years as on closing date for RAC Recruitment 2018 Apply Online for 15 Vacancies of Scientists.
1. Scientist ‘D’/‘E’: Not exceeding 45 years.
2. Scientist ‘C’: Not exceeding 35 years.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
