NOTIFICATION:        Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs inviting offline applications for filling up 359 vacant posts of Constable GD and Head Constable GD Male & Female under Sports Quota for the year-2018 from eligible and interested willing candidates. Gender/Post Wise Vacancies -

A. Constable (General Duty):   339 Posts -

• Men- 295 Posts.

• Women- 44 Posts.

B. Head Constable (General Duty):   20 posts -

• Men- 19 Posts.

• Women- 1 Post.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:      A passed of 10th class or equivalent /Matriculation/High School Standard (Matriculation)/12th /10+2/Intermediate from any recognized Board or University.

Sports Qualification:      As per details given below -

1. Constable:       Sportsperson of merit who have represented a State or the Country in any recognized National repute Games/National Championship Both (Junior & Senior) All India Inter University or International repute Championship conducted under the the aegis of respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

2. Head Constable:      Sportsperson of merit who have won any medal in individual event in National Games/National Championships Both (Junior & Senior), All India Inter University or any recognized sports meet of National repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

PAY SCALE:    As per details given below -

1. Constable (General Duty):   Level- 3 Rs. 21700-69100/-.

2. Head Constable (General Duty):  Level- 4 Rs. 25500-81100/-.

Other Allowances:      The above posts carry Dearness Allowance, HRA and any other allowances as admissible in CRPF from time to time as per Government orders.

AGE LIMIT:      18 to 23 years as on 13-01-2019 for CRPF Recruitment 2018-2019 Head Constable & Constable (359) Vacancy.

AGE RELAXATION:    Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.

Physical Standard Test (PST):  Physical standards laid down for the post of Constable are –

1. Male Height:   170 cms.

2. Female Height:   157 cms.

Chest:

Males only – Un-expanded: 80 cms.

Expanded:   Min expansion 5 cms.

Weight -Males and Females:     Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) –

1. Race Male:  05 Kms in 24 minutes.

2. Race Female:   1.6 Kms in 8 ½ Minutes.

REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE:       A non- refundable Application Fee of Rs. 100/- by General & OBC candidates to be paid the form of a Crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque along with their application in favour of “DIGP, GC CRPF, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi.

The Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.

POST RESERVATION:   Reservation is applicable for Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Women candidates.


SELECTION PROCEDURE:     Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Physical Standard/Trail/Physically Efficiency Test and Detailed Medical Examination. Only those candidates who qualify Trial Test/PST/PET and shortlisted for DME and whose documents are found to be in order will require to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination.
