NOTIFICATION: Border Security Force (BSF) (Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs) inviting offline applications for filling up 63 Group C non- combatised, non-ministerial vacant posts of Constable (General Duty) under sports quota (कांस्टेबल (जीडी) खेल वर्ग) from eligible and interested willing male candidates. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed of Matriculation/10th class examination or equivalent from any recognized Board/Institute with sports experience in any category of sports.
Sports Qualification: Representation of Indian teams in Olympic, World Cup, Asian Games, Jr./Sr. World Championship, Commonwealth, World University games & SAF games.
OR
Won any medal in Jr/Sr. National championship /National Games in individual /team events since Jan 2017 onwards.
OR
Participation in Jr/Sr National championship /National Games since Jan 2017 onwards.
OR
Gold medal in State championship from Jan 2017 onwards.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years - 23 years as on 01-08-2018 for BSF India 63 Posts in BSF Constable – Group 'C' Sports quota Posts.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: Pay Matrix Level 3, Cell-1- Rs. 21700-69100/- p m.
Physical Standards: As per BSF rules -
Height: 170 Cms.
Chest: 80 Cms unexpanded with minimum expansion of 05 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs.100/-to be paid by General & OBC candidates in the form of Demand Draft or Postal Order.
