EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. Professor: Candidates must be a Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for 3 years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty (minimum 10 years teaching experience after completion of post graduation). Publications: Minimum of 4 Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals two accepted/ published during period as Associate Professor.
2. Associate Professor: The candidates should be a Assistant Professor in the subject for 4 years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of post graduation), Publications: Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals, accepted/ published during period as Assistant Professor.
3. Assistant Professor: Applicants must have 3 years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts after post graduation in the concerned specialty. The Candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for post Assistant Professor.
4. Senior Resident /Senior Tutor: A passed of a recognized post Graduate degree from a statutory University with 3 years experience of residency in the concerned specialty or a recognized post Graduate diploma from a statutory university in the concerned specialty with 2 years experience of residency in the concerned specialty and 1 year residency experience in the concerned specialty obtained after acquiring the PG diploma or a Graduate doctor with recognized MBBS degree and registered in IMR who has got 3 years experience as a resident doctor in the concerned specialty.
5. Junior Resident: A passed of MBBS degree from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
6. Antenatal MO- cum- Lecturer/Assistant Professor: A passed of MD/MS (OBG) or an equivalent qualification as recognized by Medical Council of India or/ and MBBS degree from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
7. MCWO- Cum Lecturer/Assistant Professor: A passed of MD/MS (OBG) or an equivalent qualification as recognized by Medical Council of India and /or MBBS degree from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
8. Emergency Medical Officer: A passed of MBBS degree from a institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
9. Medical Superintendent: A passed of Post Graduation from a recognized Medical Institution and having 5 years experience as Professor. Preference will be given to the candidate from clinical department and having Army background.
10. Medical Officer Dental: A passed of BDS Degree from an institution recognized by Dental Council of India.
11. Medical Record Officer: A passed of a Bachelor's Degree preferable of Science from recognized University or equivalent and should have undergone one year course for Medical Record Officer from recognized institutional and having not less than 2 years of experience in organizing and maintenance of Medical Record in a nominated/Medical Institution of science.
12. Director (For ACI, BFUHS, Bathinda): A passed of MD (Radiotherapy) from a recognized Institution by Medical Council of India or Professor with minimum 05 years teaching experience alongwith headship of a Medical College/Department or Professor (Retd) in the relevant field shall be preferred.
13. Associate Professor (Physiotherapy): A passed of Master's degree in any branch of Physiotherapy (MPT/MSPT) from a recognized University/Institution as a full time regular candidate after basic qualification BPT 05 years teaching experience out of which minimum 03 years should be after post Graduation.
NOTE: For Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor (Medical)/ Medical Superintendent candidate must have knowledge of Punjabi language upto matriculation standard or equivalent and in case he does not, must acquire the same within six month of joining and for others posts candidate must have pass Punjabi Examination up to Matriculation or its equivalent.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Professor- Rs. 37400-67000+10000/- G.P.
2. Associate Professor- Rs. 37400-67000+8900/- G.P.
3. Assistant Professor – Rs..37400-67000+8600/- G.P.
4. Senior Resident/Senior Tutor – Rs. 15600+5400/-+NPA+DA (3% increment for 2nd
and 3rd year).
5. Junior Resident- 35000/- Consolidated.

AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
