1. Professor: A passed of Ph.D with 10 years experience after Ph.D. or 13 years total working experience, out of which 7 years should be after Ph.D. with atleast 3 years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9500/- or 4 years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000/- or combination of Rs.9000/- and Rs.9500/- or equivalent in an Institution of repute or Research & Development Lab or relevant Industry.
2. Associate Professor: A passed of Ph.D with 6 years experience after Ph.D. of which atleast 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000/-; Or 9 years total working experience, of which 3 years should be after Ph.D., with atleast 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000/-.
3. Assistant Professor Grade-I: A passed of Ph.D with 3 years experience after Ph.D. or 6 years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant Industry.
4. Assistant Professor Grade-II: A passed of Ph.D with 1 year experience post Ph.D. experience of Teaching and Research in Institution of repute or Industry.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18/21 years – 27/30/33/35/36/40/50/58 years as on closing date for NIT Meghalay Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors Recruitment 2019.
