NOTIFICATION: Border Security Force (BSF/ सीमा सुरक्षा बल) (Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs) inviting online applications for filling up 1072 vacant posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator/ Radio Mechanic) from eligible and interested willing male candidates. 1. Head Constable (Radio Operator): 300 Posts.
2. Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): 772 Posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
Head Constable (Radio Operator): A passed of Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software ON, General Electronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

A passed of Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): A passed of Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

A passed of Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
PAY SCALE: Rs. 25,500-81,100/- pm.

Male -
Height: 168 Cms.
Chest: 80 – 85 Cms.
NOTE: 1- Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belong to State from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions of Jammu and Kashmir: 165 Cms.
2- ST/Adivasis or Tribals including Mizos and Nagas: 162.5 Cms.
Chest: 76- 81 Cms.
Female –
Height: 157 Cms.
NOTE: 1- Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belong to State from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions of Jammu and Kashmir: 155 Cms.
2- ST/Adivasis or Tribals including Mizos and Nagas: 154 Cms.
Weight: Proportionate to the height as per medical standard.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs.100/-to be paid by General, EWS & OBC candidates through Challan form.
No application fee from SC/ST/Women, BSF Serving & Ex Servicemen candidates.
