NOTIFICATION: Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) Delhi (Government of India, MHA) inviting online applications for filling up Group A 980 vacant posts of Medical Officers in various disciplines Male & Female (Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in Central Armed Police Forces (ITBP, BSF, CRPF, SSB and Assam Rifles)) from eligible and interested willing candidates. Post Wise Vacancies –
1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): 04 posts.
2. Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): 210 posts.
3. Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): 210 posts.
4. Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): 556 posts.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below -
1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): A passed of Graduate degree in Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or equivalent from any recognized University/Institution and should also possess Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the related Speciality.
2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): A passed of recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule and should also possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the related Speciality from any recognized University/Institution.
3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): A passed of recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule from any recognized University/Institution.
AGE LIMIT: Applicants required age should not be exceeding as per below details as on the closing date of receipt of application i.e 20.05.2019 -
1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): 50 years.
2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 40 years.
3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 30 years.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below for ITBP Recruitment 2019 for 980 Medical Officers in various disciplines Posts.
1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): SSMO will be granted the rank of Second-in-Command in the revised pay structure of the first cell in the Level-12 of Pay Matrix or minimum pay in the first cell of Pay Matrix as specified in Part-A of the schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016, pay scale Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 per month plus other benefits like Non-Practising Allowances, Dearness allowances, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and any other allowances as admissible under Rules would be admissible as per the Central Government orders/provisions in existence and as amended from time to time. No Post Graduate allowance will be admissible as the basic essential qualification for the post is Post Graduate degree/diploma in a particular field of specialization.
2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): SMO will be granted the rank of Deputy Commandant in the revised pay structure of the first cell in the Level-11 of Pay Matrix or minimum pay in the first cell of Pay Matrix as specified in Part-A of the schedule of CCS(Revised Pay) Rules, 2016, pay scale Rs. 67,700-2,08,700 per month plus other benefits like Non-Practising Allowances, Dearness allowances, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and any other allowances as admissible under Rules would be admissible as per the Central Government orders/provisions in existence and as amended from time to time. No Post Graduate allowance will be admissible as the basic essential qualification for the post is Post Graduate degree/diploma in a particular field of specialization.
3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): Medical Officers appointed in any of the CAPFs will be granted the rank of Assistant Commandant in the revised pay structure of the first cell in the Level-10 of Pay Matrix or minimum pay in the first cell of Pay Matrix as specified in Part-A of the schedule of CCS(Revised Pay) Rules, 2016, pay scale Rs.56,100-1,77,500 per month plus other benefits like Non-Practising Allowances, Dearness allowances, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and any other allowances as admissible under Rules would be admissible as per the Central Government orders/provisions in existence and as amended from time to time. No Post Graduate allowance will be admissible as the basic essential qualification for the post 1s Graduate degree/diploma in a particular field of specialization.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 400/- by General & OBC category candidates to be paid through online mode.
SC/ ST and Ex- Serviceman candidates are exempted from application fee.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability /eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in personal interview & Medical Examination.
MEDICAL EXAMINATION: The candidates who attain the minimum prescribed standard for the selection in the interview will be required to undergo medical examination by a Board of CAPF Medical Officers duly constituted by Medical Officers Selection Board on a day following the date of interview.
