EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Open Category in both Urban and Rural area - Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Experience: Other - Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years experience in life insurance industry.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 21 years - 30 years as on 01-05-2019 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1989 and not later than 01.05.1998 (both days inclusive).
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for LIC 8581 Apprentice Development Officer Recruitment 2019.
PAY SCALE: During the apprentice period, the candidate selected as Apprentice Development Officer will be paid a fixed amount of Rs. 34,503/- stipend per month as per rules of the Corporation.
On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, basic pay of ₹ 21,865/- per month (except for Employee Category candidates) in the scale of 21865-1340(2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)- 55075/- and other admissible allowances as per rules shall be payable.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 600/-+ Transaction Charges by General/EWS & OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- only intimation charges + Transaction Charges by SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates to be paid through online mode using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/MasterCard /Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen up to 09-06-2019.
No fee is payable for SC/ST/PWD candidates applying for the post except the intimation charges of ₹ 50/-.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
PRE-EXAM TRAINING FOR SC/ST/OBC CANDIDATES: There is a provision for pre-exam training for SC/ST/OBC candidates. SC/ST/OBC candidates who wish to avail the benefit of pre-exam training should exercise the option while registering on-line application.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in 2 phase examination i.e. Preliminary Examination and Main Examination followed by Interview. Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates.
