NO OF VACANCIES: 49 vacant posts of Drugs Inspector and Junior Analyst through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), Chennai.
Post Wise Vacancies –
1. Drugs Inspector (Post Code No. 1972) Tamil Nadu Medical Service: 40 posts.
2. Junior Analyst in the Drugs Testing Laboratory (Post Code No. 2006) Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service: 09 posts.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: As per details given below –
1. DRUGS INSPECTOR: A passed of a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. Candidate should have knowledge of Tamil Language.
2. JUNIOR ANALYST: A passed of a Degree in Pharmacy or a Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Degree in Chemistry from any recognized University or Institute/Candidate should have knowledge of Tamil Language and Experience in the analysis of drugs for a period of not less than one year in the case of persons possessing a degree in Pharmacy or a Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a special subject and for a period of not less than 2 years in the case of persons possessing a Degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 18 years – 30 years as on 01-07-2019 for TNPSC Recruitment 2019 Apply online for 49 Posts of Drugs Inspector and Junior Analysts.
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt. rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
PAY SCALE: As per details given below –
1. Drugs Inspector: Rs.37700 – 119500/- (Level 20) as per the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017.
2. Junior Analyst: Rs.36400 – 115700/- (Level 16) as per Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules 2017.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non- refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. Amounts of Rs. 150/- by General & BC candidates have to pay to register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory. Candidates have to pay application fee in the form of Online or through State Bank of India/Indian Bank challan form.
Examination Fee: Applicants required to pay a sum of Rs.200/- through online by using Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card, or it can be paid at State Bank of India/Indian Bank.
SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons are exempted from the payment of application fee.
POST RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women /Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt. policy/rules.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants who are screened for applicability/ eligibility are being selected as per organization policy/rules depending on the basis of their performance in Written Examination & Oral Test/ Interview –
1- Written Examination.
2- Oral Test in the shape of an interview.
