QUALIFICATION EDUCATION
As per details given below-
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Aspirants passed class of M.E /M. Tech or equivalent in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering/ Power Electronics/Drives/Microelectronics/VLSI/Optical Engineering/M.Sc. Degree in Statistics/ in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA /CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent with B.E/B. Tech or equivalent in Aerospace/Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/Applied Electronics/Computer Science /Electrical & Electronics Engineering Mechanical /Aeronautical Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
Note
The applicants for JRF positions should also have qualified one of the following tests and the year of qualification and score have to be furnished in the online application.
CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test, including NET-Lectureship.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD.
Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD.
Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST).
For all Engineering disciplines, GATE qualification is mandatory.
Research Associate (RA)
Aspirants passed class of Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering. Their Ph.D. work should have been carried out in Electro Catalysts / Fuel Cells / Electrolysers/ PEM fuel cell modelling and simulation.
AGE CALCULATOR
Max age should not exceed 28/35 years as on 30-10-2019 -
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Max age 28 years.
2. Research Associate (RA): Max age 35 years.
RELAXATION TECHNIQUES
As per sarkari naukri rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for VSSC Recruitment 2019 FOR JRF and RA Vacancy.
PAY SCALE
As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹ 31,000/- and ₹ 47,000/- p.m. In addition, House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively.
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹ 31,000/- per month.
2. Research Associate (RA): ₹ 47,000/- per month.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below-
1. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil): A passed of B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Civil Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks.
2. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): A passed of BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks.
3. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning): A passed of BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives.
4. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture): A passed of Bachelor degree in Architecture in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% Marks.
NOTE: Candidates who are going to complete the above course in the academic year 2018-2019 are also eligible to apply, provided final degree is available by August-2019 and their aggregate is 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available).
AGE LIMIT: Max age should not exceed 35 years as on 15-01-2019.
