granted Permanent / Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service,
under the Terms and Conditions laid down for grant of such Army Commission.

Qualification
The candidates
must have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or
equivalent (12 years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology
(Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a
regular student from any Statutory/ Recognized Board/ University/ Examination
Body. The candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying
examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.

Armed Forces Medical Examination. After the completion of the interview round,
the candidates have to appear for Medical Test before a Selection Medical Board

QUALIFICATION EDUCATION
Aspirants passed class in the first attempt, Senior Secondary
Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) examination with Physics,

PHYSICAL STANDARDS
Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for
Commission in the Armed Forces as amended from time to time. X-Ray examination
of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis) will be done. Minimum height
required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas
and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon
will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. Details of medical standards

MARITAL STATUS
Single/Married/Divorcee or otherwise legally separated /Widow for
Military Nursing Service in Indian Army Recruitment 2020.
PERMANENT COMMISSION
SSC Officers of the MNS will be considered for grant of permanent
commission as per existing rules as amended from time to time. They will be
subjected to interview by a Selection Board duly constituted for the same.
However, the grant of Permanent Commission will be subject to availability of
vacancies in the Cadre.
ARMY NURSING AGE CALCULATOR-AGE LIMIT

Indian Army B. Sc Nursing Jobs 2018: Applications are invited from Female candidates (only) for admission to 4 years B Sc. (Nursing) course commencing in 2018 at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. Based on the merit cum choice, (subject to vacancy in each College) the candidates will be awarded admission in Colleges of Nursing. Selected candidates shall execute an agreement /Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) for 5 years. On successful completion of Nursing Training (4years), the candidates will be granted permanent /short service commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the terms and conditions laid down for grant of such commission. They shall have to refund the bond money as per the bond executed in the event of withdrawal from the course, termination of training or refusal to accept commission in the MNS, if offered. During training they will be provided with free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance and monthly stipend as per existing terms and conditions as amended from time to time.

Army Nursing Eligibility
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body. Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.
The candidates finally selected for the course will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite subjects and marks before joining the course.
NOTE: On successful completion of Nursing Training (4 years), the candidates will be granted permanent/short service commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the terms and conditions laid down for grant of such commission.
PHYSICAL FITNESS for Indian Army Nursing: Physical standards/ Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for commission in the Armed Forces.
Indian Army Nursing Height: Minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. MARITAL STATUS: Single/Married/Divorcee or otherwise legally separated /Widow for Military Nursing Service in Indian Army Recruitment 2018.
PAY SCALE-Indian Army Nursing Salary: Rs. 15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-+ Military Service Pay Rs 4,200/- + DA and other Allowance as per prevailing rates.
PERMANENT COMMISSION: SSC Officers of the MNS will be considered for grant of permanent commission as per existing rules as amended from time to time. They will be subjected to interview by a Selection Board duly constituted for the same. However, the grant of Permanent Commission will be subject to availability of vacancies in the Cadre.
AGE LIMIT: Candidate’s required age should be in between of 17 years to 25 years, candidates born between 01 October 1993 and 30 September 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates for Indian Army B. Sc Nursing Course 2018-Apply Online for 160 Posts.
REQUIRED APPLICATION FEE: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. An amount of Rs. 150/- to be paid by eligible candidates through payment gateway from the system for making the payment online mode.

NOTE: Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type written test of 90 minutes duration likely to be held in Feb 2018, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. Candidates as per merit on the basis of written test will be called for interview during May 2018. Final selection will be based on combined merit of written test & interview, subject to medical fitness. Admission to Colleges of Nursing will be offered in accordance with the merit cum choice subject to vacancy in each College.
Medical Examination: After the interview, the recommended candidates will appear for medical examination before a Special Medical Board (SMB). Candidates declared Fit/Unfit will be informed by the President of the Medical board including the procedure of requesting for Appeal/Review Medical Board.
