SSC CHSL Notification 2020-2021: Exam Pattern
Guys most of the applicants were doubtful whether the
SSC CHSL 2020-21 Tier 1 will be conducted by the National Recruitment Agency
(NRA) via Common Eligibility Test (CET). But, after the release of SSC CHSL
2020-21 notifications, it is clear that the exam will be conducted by SSC board
only. Therefore, there is no change in SSC CHSL exam pattern. As per the
previous year pattern the Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL consists of three tiers;
Tier 1 (Online), Tier 2 (Offline) & Tier 3 (Skill/Typing Test). The time
duration of SSC CHSL Tier I and Tier 2 remains the same viz. 60
minutes. The below table highlights the exam pattern for the three tiers -
SSC CHSL 2020-21 Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The Tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode
through Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be a total of 100 questions from
4 different subjects. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English
Language. For each correct answer, a candidate will be awarded 2 marks and for
each incorrect answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. The other details of the Tier

Tier 2 is a qualifying stage which will be conducted
through pen and paper mode. Candidates have to score a minimum of 33 per cent
to qualify in this stage. The total marks for this stage is 100 with 1-hour

SSC CHSL 2020-21 Tier 3 Exam Pattern
Guys,Tier 3 is also qualifying in nature. In this
stage, candidates who are applying for the post DEO/ LDC/ JSA/ SA/ PA have to
undergo a typing test/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). Candidates can opt for
any medium (either Hindi or English) in the typing test. To qualify the test
candidate must attain a minimum speed 30 Words per Minute (WPM) in either Hindi
or English for 10 minutes of typing.
SSC CHSL 2020-21 Stage 4
Friends, the last stage of the SSC CHSL exam is the
final selection process. In this stage, candidates’ documents are verified by
either the SSC board or the recruiting department.
