NIT Jamshedpur NOTIFICATION: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (An Institution of National Importance) inviting offline applications for filling up various vacant posts of Assistant Executive Engineers-II, Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Technical Assistants, Medical Officer and OSD Legal Services on contract basis through walks in interview from eligible and interested willing candidates. Job seekers, who wish to apply for these vacancies regarding Recruitment 2016, must have passed Bachelor Degree/B. Tech/ MBBS Degree with a required experience if asked. NIT VACANCY: Various vacant posts of Assistant Executive Engineers-II, Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Technical Assistants, Medical Officer and OSD Legal Services in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
NIT EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As per details given below as on 15-07-2016 -
1. Technical Assistant: A passed of First Class Bachelor's (Honours) degree in Sciences in the appropriate discipline or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record OR First class Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline with excellent academic record OR First class Post-graduate degree in science (M.Sc.) or B.E. / B. Tech. in the appropriate discipline from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record with a min 5 years experience in appropriate discipline.
2. Junior Engineers (Civil and Electrical): A passed of First class B.E. / B. Tech in the appropriate discipline from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record OR First class Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline with excellent academic record with min 5 years experience in appropriate discipline.
3. Assistant Engineer (Civil and Electrical): A passed of First Class B.E / B.Tech degree in Civil /Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with at least min 6 years experience in Designing, Estimation and Execution of Civil / Electrical Works. OR First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline with excellent academic record with at least 6 years experience in Designing, Estimation, Execution of Civil / Electrical Works.
4. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): A passed of First Class B.E / B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with at least 6 years experience in Designing, Estimation and Execution of Civil Works OR First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering with excellent academic record with at least 6 years experience in Designing, Estimation and Execution of Civil Works.
5. Medical Officer: A passed of MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act. 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. Post Graduate qualification, preferably MD, in General Medicine is desirable.
6. OSD Legal Services: A holder of experience to the post of Deputy Registrar and above in the CFIs OR Retired Central Government Employee preferably from allied services/ Legal background (LLB/LLM) with experience of dealing with departmental proceedings and court cases.
NIT AGE LIMIT/PAY SCALE: As per details given below -
1. Assistant Executive Engineers-II (Civil) (SG-II): Required Age: Max 42 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 45,000/- pm.
2. Assistant Engineers (Civil and Electrical): Required Age: Max 36 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 40,000/- pm.
3. Junior Engineers (Civil and Electrical): Required Age: Max not exceeding 35 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 28,000/- pm (Consolidated).
4. Technical Assistants: Required Age: Max not exceeding 35 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 28,000/- pm (Consolidated).
5. Medical Officer: Required Age: Max not exceeding 63 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 60,000/- pm.
6. OSD Legal Services: Required Age: Max not exceeding 63 years.
Pay/Monthly Remuneration: ₹ 65,000/- pm.AGE RELAXATION: As per Govt rules age relaxation is applicable for said post to all reserved category candidates.
NIT APPLICATION FEES: For said vacancy a non refundable application fee is to be paid by the candidates as per rules. Refer notification.
RESERVATION: All reserved category candidates ie. SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ Women/Ex Servicemen/Widows etc (as applicable) are being selected for said post/s as per existing Govt policy/rules.
