Eligibility Criteria
To be
eligible for the JSSC Primary Teacher Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet
the following eligibility criteria:

They must be a citizen of
India.
·
They must have passed the 10+2
examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
·
They must have passed the
Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility
Test (CTET).
·
They must have a Bachelor's
degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
JSSC Teacher Age Limit
·
PRT: 21 to 40 years.
·
TGT: 21 to 40 years.
JSSC Teacher Educational Qualification
PRT:
Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from a
recognized university/institution. They must also have qualified in the Jharkhand
Teacher Eligibility Test (Jharkhand TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility
Test (CTET).
TGT:
Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject
with at least 50% marks from a recognized university/institution. They must
also have qualified in the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (Jharkhand TET)
or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and have a Master's degree in
the relevant subject.
JSSC Application Fee
·
General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 100/-
·
SC/ST: Rs. 50/-
Selection Process
The selection
of candidates for the JSSC Primary Teacher Recruitment 2023 will be done
through a Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT will consist of two papers:

Paper I:
General Knowledge and Mathematics
·
Paper II:
Pedagogy and Teaching Aptitude
·
The CBT will be of 100 marks
each. The qualifying marks for the CBT will be announced later.

The selection of candidates
will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT will be of two hours
duration and will consist of three sections:

General Knowledge
·
Mathematics
·
Language
·

CBT will be announced later.
Salary and Benefits
The selected
candidates will be appointed as Primary Teachers (PRT) or Graduate
Trained Assistant Teachers (TGT) in the government schools of Jharkhand.
The starting salary of a PRT teacher is Rs. 35,400/- per month and that of a
TGT teacher is Rs. 44,900/- per month. The teachers will also be entitled to
other benefits such as house rent allowance, medical allowance, leave travel
allowance, etc. Selected
candidates will be getting level 4 Rs.25,500/- to Rs.81,100/- and Level
5 Rs.29,200/- to 92,300/- pm.
