Master’s
degree of a recognized University in Hindi with

or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or
three years‟ experience of translation

process comprises two papers - Paper-I and Paper-II.
The selection

Tier 1 Exam:
This will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 questions. The duration of
the exam will be 60 minutes.
Tier 2 Exam:
This will be a descriptive paper with two parts:
Part A:
Translation from English to Hindi
Part B:
Translation from Hindi to English
Document
Verification: Candidates who qualify in
Tier 2 Exam will be called for document verification.
Medical
Examination: Candidates who clear the
document verification will be called for medical examination.
Tier 1: This
will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 questions. The duration of the
test will be 1 hour 30 minutes.
Tier 2: This
will be a descriptive paper with two parts: Translation and Essay. The duration
of the test will be 3 hours.
Paper-I:
Objective type questions testing candidates' translation and language skills.
Paper-II:
Descriptive translation and essay writing to evaluate in-depth understanding
and linguistic abilities.
Pay Scale-Salary and Benefits
The salary
will increase with the level of seniority. JHTs also get other benefits such as
medical allowance, leave travel allowance, and pension.
