Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Completion of Integrated Diploma in Community Health
Nursing (IDCHN) program or Certificate in Community Health Nursing (CCHN)
program with registration in Indian/State Nursing Council.

Age Limit: As
per NHM UP recruitment rules (refer to official notification for details)

Other Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong
commitment to public service, ability to work independently and as part of a
team, and proficiency in Hindi and/or English.
UP NHM CHO Age Limit
The
candidates are required to be in the age group of 21 to 40 years.
However, candidates belonging to reserved categories have been provided age
relaxation as shown in notification.
UP NHM CHO Educational Qualification
B.Sc
(Nursing) with an integrated curriculum of
Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) or
Post
Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course with an integrated curriculum of
Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) from the academic year 2020
& onward from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized
Institute or University.
Candidate
must be registered in UP Nurses & Midwives Council, but candidates
having registration in other State’s Nursing Council as Nurse and Midwife are
also eligible to apply.

Selection Process
The UP NHM CHO
Recruitment 2024 selection criteria primarily consider the cumulative marks
achieved in High School and intermediate, as well as both theoretical
and practical aspects of all years in B.Sc. (Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc.
(Nursing) examinations. Additionally, applicants are awarded COVID experience
weightage, with 85 marks allocated for achievements in High School,
Intermediate, and all years of Integrated CCHN B.Sc. Nursing/PB B.Sc. Nursing,
and 15 marks attributed to COVID experience.

The successful candidate shall be appointed
as Community Health Officer on contractual basis at sub center level HWCs and
paid Rs. 20,500/- per
month
honoraria and up to Rs
15,000/- per month Performance based incentive (PBI) after posting in the
allocated district as a CHO subject to guideline issued by Government of India.
