Eligibility
criteria for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector under the Railway
Protection Force in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as
follows.
Age Limit
The age limit
for this recruitment is 18-28 Years for Constables and 20-28 for Sub-Inspectors.
The crucial date for the calculation of the age limit is 1.7.2024. The age
Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government:
SI –
The applicant’s should be at least 20 years and not exceed 25 years.
Constable –
One’s age must be below 18 and above 25 years.
There will be
upper age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST and OBC for 10 years, respectively.
Educational Qualification
SI –
One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized
University.
Constable –
It is mandatory that an individual must have passed the 10th/Matriculation
exam.
RPF Constable and Sub-Inspector Pay Scale
The pay scale
of the RPF Constables is Rs. 21700/- plus allowances. This a Level-3 CPC
Pay Matrix Job. While the Pay Scale of the RPF Sub-Inspector (SI) is Rs.
35400/- plus allowances. This is a Level-6 Pay Matrix Job.

process, the selection of candidates is made for SI and constable posts on the

Process for RPF constables and Sub-Inspectors Recruitment 2024 include

It is the initial phase of the RPF selection

candidates applying for RPF Recruitment need to undergo several activities like
the long jump, running, high jump, etc
Verification
of documents
In this
phase, the candidates need to go through the documentation process to confirm
their eligibility.
Medical Test
After the
verification of the documents of candidates, candidates need to go for a
medical test, so the officials can check whether their health meets the eligibility

Final Merit
list
This is the
last phase of the RPF 2024 selection process. In this, the ranking of
