To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2024, the candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. There are 3 criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC CPO 2024 Exam. Check the detailed eligibility criteria below section:

SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

1. A citizen of India, or

2. A subject of Nepal, or

3. A subject of Bhutan, or

4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

A physical endurance test will be held for those who pass Paper 1 of SSC CPO 2024. Below are the requirements for the physical fitness of candidates.

SSC CPO Medical Test 2024

After passing the physical test, candidates for SSC CPO will proceed to the Medical Test conducted by a Medical Officer from CPAF or an Assistant Surgeon. If a candidate is deemed unfit for the position, they can request a review by a medical board within 15 days.

To be eligible, candidates should not have certain physical conditions like knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or a squint in their eyes. They must have good eyesight without glasses or lenses. The minimum vision requirements include being able to read at a distance (6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye) and up close (N6 in the better eye and N9 in the worse eye).

Questions asked in both paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2024 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.

Questions asked in Paper 1 will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English while questions in Paper 2 will be only in English language.

0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate for both Paper 1 & 2.

After finishing the PST test, candidates will take the PET test for SSC CPO. There are different physical endurance requirements for male and female candidates.

For Male Candidates:

Run 100 meters in 16 seconds.

Complete a 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes.

Long jump 3.65 meters in 3 tries.

High jump 1.2 meters in 3 tries.

For Female Candidates:

Below are the steps that one needs to take for successful online registration for the exam:

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CPO 2024 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4: To begin with the registration, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID.

Candidates are required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates would have to upload photographs and signatures following the requisites mentioned by SSC.

Photograph - The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light-colored background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature - The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with a registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form.

Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates must preview the entire application form, once to look for any glitches in the form.

Step 9: Click on the Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CPO application form.

Step 10: Pay the required application fee to submit your form successfully. The payment of application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
