WB Police Constable Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants have passed Class 10th/ Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- Age limit should be in between of 18 years to 30 years.
- Applicant must be able to speak, read and write in Bengali language.

WB Police Constable 2024 Educational Qualification
Aspirants, as per the WBPRB Recruitment 2024 Notification, the applicant must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent to fill out the WB Constable Online Form 2024 for the WB Constable Vacancy 2024.
Language: (i) The applicant must be able to read, write and speak Bengali language provided that the provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
(ii) For the applicants of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Ben. Act XXIV of 1961) shall be applicable.

Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
Kolkata Police Constable Exam Pattern 2024: কলকাতা পুলিশ কনস্টেবল নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়াটি চারটি ধাপে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। যেমন-1) Preliminary 2) PET PMT 3) Final Written Test 4) Interview.
1. Preliminary Exam:
প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় 100 নম্বরের পরীক্ষা হবে, যেখানে 100টি প্রশ্ন থাকবে। প্রত্যেকটি প্রশ্নে থাকবে 1 নম্বর। নিচে প্রিলিমারী পরীক্ষায় প্যাটার্নটি প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The height of a male constable is 167 cm barefoot, 57 kg in weight, and 78 cm in chest (without expansion) or 83 cm.

WB Police Constable - Admit Card
The admit card shall be uploaded on Official website. Jobseekers can download their Admit Card online before commencement of examination.
WB Police Constable - Result 2024
Aspirants can download their Result which will be announced officially after conducting the written examination and other Exams.
WBP Constable Exam Pattern 2024
There would be 100 objective-type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying 01 mark each. The duration of this test will be 1 hour. The question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali). Questions of the Preliminary Written Test shall be from the following subjects:
- General Awareness and General Knowledge: 40 Marks
- Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik standard): 30 Marks
- Reasoning: 30 Marks
There will be NEGATIVE marking for each incorrect answer. ¼th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
WBP Constable PST 2024
The physical standards (height and weight) of the candidates will be tested by using Electronic Machines of those who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test.
WBP Constable PET 2024
Candidates will be required to run 800 meters in 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
WBP Constable Final Test 2024
The Final Written Examination will have 85 Objective Type Questions (MCQs) of 85 marks. The duration of the examination will be 1 hour. Question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali) except questions on English language.
On the basis of the marks obtained in the Final Written Examination and the Interview, a merit list of the provisionally selected candidates will be prepared by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
