with 1198 for Multi Tasking Staff and 360 for Havildar posts in CBIC and CBN.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS & Havildar Recruitment
There are
three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill to be eligible for
SSC MTS 2024 Exam. Before filling the applications for SSC MTS Exam, the
candidates must know the minimum required SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria in terms
of nationality, education qualification, and age limit. Let’s have a look at
all these three criteria. Before submitting the application form, candidates
should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates
aspiring to apply for the SSC MTS & Havildar Recruitment 2024 must meet the
following educational qualifications:
MTS:
Applicants should have completed their 10th standard or equivalent from
a recognized board.
Havildar:
Candidates need to possess a minimum qualification of 12th standard or
its equivalent.
Age Limit
The crucial
date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2024 in accordance with the provisions
of DoP&T OM No. 140l7/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. The age Page 4 of
81 limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User
Departments the age criteria for applicants are as follows:
The minimum
age requirement is 18 years.
18-25 years
(i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2006) for MTS.
18-27 years
(i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006) for Havaldar
in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue and a few posts of MTS in various
departments.
The maximum
age limit varies according to the specific category guidelines set forth by the
SSC.
SSC MTS Exam Date 2024
As per the
SSC Calendar 2024, the tier 1 examination for the SSC MTS 2024 exam is
scheduled to be conducted in October-November 2024 in multiple shifts
across the country. The SSC MTS Exam Date 2024 will be officially
announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The candidates who are

only as no hard or soft copy will be sent to the candidates.
SSC MTS 2024 Answer Key
Staff
Selection Commission will upload the SSC MTS Tier 1 Answer Key on the
official website around a month later the exam is conducted. SSC MTS
Provisional Answer Key is released first followed by the final answer key.
No answer key will be released for the SSC MTS Tier-2 and Skill test.
